Adobe Premiere CS5 Problem

Thread Starter
I am making a video montage for a friend's kid's graduation, it is just a bunch of still images with fade transitions. I am having a problem...

Whenever I bring the photo onto my time line, the quality of the pictures turns horrible. Very pixelated, even though the pictures are high quality. Any way to fix this?

1 of 2 things could be the problem:

1) your sequence settings are set to quite low quality (resolution)

or

2) your preview (the video box on the right) is set to a low quality preview setting for speed. hit "enter" on your keyboard to "render" the video and it should clear it up depending on if "1" above is good quality.

See if that helps.
