HAF X CASE

Rough plan to go with is i'm hoping to put a

in the roof.

I'm not sure what way the in.out side is going to be. i think at the back of the case maybe a prob because the H70 is there.

Thinking of this pump and res

and i m getting three

question 1 what are better? (how much of the clear ones, i am i really going to see?)

going with red (UV better or just red) coolant and red faned leds.

in my head I m thinking rad in roof, duel bay in the front middle. flow starting from pump, going up to rad. rad going to first card and through second to third and then to 90 degree out back to pump.

question 2 does this seem ok?

I would go with the XSPC Razors, they seem to get better temps as someone did a review here a couple months back.

That review did not compare what's most important about the blocks; VRM/VRAM temps. It should not be referenced as such. XSPC blocks traditionally have been relatively poor performers in those areas.

As for acrylic vs. acetal, it's a matter of personal preference and what you think would look better.

thanks will look in the xspc review, however, as an x 5970 vrm/vram temps are important to me
note my 6950s are non ref. (but did work fine on shader unlock 6950 pcs+)
then plan was to stay on air. but after playing on the pc only hearing fan noise, water is the only way.

Non ref 6950s... I'd recommend you do a visual match on the pcb before you order because there are a handful of different types. Non-ref 6950s will probably use a 6870 block.

The 6970 V2 block is for the revised 6970 card, NOT the 6950 revised card.

I would stay away from Acrilyic Tops as they love to crack if you over tighten.. I havent personally done so but every block iwe bought has..

Most if not all Sandybridge boards do not provide the ability of Quad SLI/CF so you might wanna take that into consideration.
