I agree it looks better without them, gotta figure out how to tone them down in game... The top looks overly exaggerated compared to real life. I was just wondering why they don't show up in high resolution screen shots.

Here's a screenshot i took today that i also posted in the screenshots of your games thread-

Crysis looks so much better with mods.

Hey guys, so I recently purchased Crysis during the Steam sale and, wanting to see Crysis at its best, installed several of the mods in this guide. The game was running fine and looked beautiful until I decided to try out the Extreme Immersive Mod (version 3.088, the newest) listed here. My first impressions were great; really liked the lighting changes and I had no problems. Didn't like the gameplay changes though, so I turned it off and loaded my old save file. As soon as I began playing I realized the animations were the same from the Extreme Immersive Mod and whenever I sprinted with a rifle the gun would block my screen. I uninstalled and deleted the mod but the problem persisted; I uninstalled the game from steam and deleted the folder. Re-downloaded it today and started a new game and I still have the same problem. Was really hoping someone could help me out, the glitch isn't game breaking but its really unimmersive. wink.gif

This happen to me as well, i believe you have to delete the Crysis folder in the My Games folder in your Documents folder. Make sure you back up your save games though.

A couple around but it's not really worth it. It'd probably be faster to dl piece by piece than wait for a slow torrent.

Crysis is pretty damned easy to mod compared to other titles anyway. If the files are zz. they go in your crysis/games folder and if it's a packaged mod it just goes in the mod folder.

does anyone here still have the AMAZONIAN RIVER MAP uploaded somewhere like megaupload or something ?

I cannot find it anywhere. I have all the tools here and want to see the same level as shown in the youtube video of the EIM.. but I need the map in order to compare...
does the install location.. "crysis/game.." also work by simply moving all wanted .pak files to the crysis/mod/EIM/game folder ?
launching the EIM mod via crysis, restarting and calling up a level ?

it doesn't seem to be working this way thus far.. it seems it should work though...

So let's see, as recommended, I've downloaded:

1. The mods pack.
2. Reygel texture pack.
3. XtremeFX2.
4. Water shader.
5. Global Ambient Lighting/POM AF & Extreme Config w/AF.
6. Scar, Socom, Sniper skin pack.

Did I miss anything, in terms of graphic quality? Anything incompatible? Gosh I wish there's a complete pack for all of these.
Thanks OP, you rock. biggrin.gif

Edit: are these mods compatible with Crysis Warhead?
