Excellent TVs, excellent phones, tablets, you name it.

Really awesome getting into arguments with those high-and-mighty guys at the Samsung store in Manhattan.

The last guy I talked to said to me "Oh, so you like your iPhone 4, huh?".

When I said "Yes, why?", he just kept saying "Oh, nothing *grin*, I don't have anything to say to that", until his boss called him away.

It's just so fun.

P.S. Are you a girl?
Samsung build quality is the only think that deters me away from buying one of their phones.

The Galaxy S2 back is like the cheapest plastic ever .

What are you talking about?

I got my Samsung Galaxy S two days ago.

It's not an iPhone 4, but it's in no one lower quality than an iPhone 3GS.

Their targeting different people with their products, hence my 'some people prefer different phones' comment, and most employees at shops are biased

Does it really matter

the evo 3D I'm curious about, it sounds interesting... not that I'd ever want a phone that was 3D, I'm happy with good old 2D screens. If google goes to HTC to manufacture their next nexus phone I may just buy it

I have the Samsung Captivate and even with being skinny and light as hell the thing both feels and is solid. I'm very careful with my phones but there have been some uhm less than sober nights where the thing has taken a good hit to the screen and ended up fine.

Actually, I think they're going for the Apple crowd, with their expensive-looking items.

They're making themselves the next luxury brand, in my mind. And doing a decent job at it.

And yes, it does matter

With the Evo 3D...I am worried about performance. It appears as if it had the same CPU and RAM. But running 3D tech? So it will probably be a bit laggy sometimes. As for Samsung making the Nexus S...I am not to happy about that either. I had the Samsung Moment, and was a dev over at sdx-developers, so it's not like my Moment was stock and noobed; but even with the custom kernels and EXT2 mods running 2.2, I wasn't all that impressed. Samsung has horrible customer support. If HTC makes the next Nexus, I am game.

2011's hardware is more than twice as powerful as 2010's.

I see no problem here.

Im talking about the Galaxy S2 not the S.

The back of the phone has to be the cheapest and most flimsy plastic ever used.

go to 3 mins .

I've done that a few times with my desire, it hasn't got a scratch on it

Their going for expensive and high tech looking, whereas HTC goes for classy and simple. Their doing an ok job at it, their OS needs some work though, the animations are so very jerky

I think there have been a few 3D themes popping up on XDA, I have no idea how it works or anything but their there... I expect it to not be laggy at stock actually, HTC have been optimising sense furiously. The modded roms for my desire have been buttery smooth

Yeah, samsung isn't the most modder friendly... I love HTC for leaving them relatively open (using the same way to lock bootloaders for every phone lol), plus I love their style. MY desire should be around for another year, hopefully there is another nexus out by then!
