What an ignorantstupid statement. If you'd looked anywhere its got a dual-core qualcomm at 1.2ghz, 1gb RAM, 1080p playback, and many other upgrades.

EDIT: Full Specs

That it does, I'm waiting for a stable sense 3.0 port

The thing is, we have no idea how much horsepower is needed to drive 3D. I guess we'll find out eh?

You are correct and I apologize for offending you with my "stupid" statement. The fact of the matter is though, before the specs were revised and conformed last month, that the evo 3D carried the 1ghz Snapdragon, 512mb ram, and single camera. This was the device that was handed out for testing and posted on youtube. Since than, they have added all of the upgrades you listed as well as the dual cams for 3d video and pictures.

So it was an ignorant statement, for I didn't know of the revisions. But it was not a stupid one lol

You mean crappy 60hz 3D?

Not more than usual. It just won't be nearly as cool.

That is true, there are some videos on cnet or engadget maybe of people doing initial reviews. I recommend watching them. Its not 3D all the time everything anyways, from what i understand. Its only pictures and videos that you record in 3D that show up 3D...also 3D will be 720p and 2D will be 1080p.

I'm getting one simply for the 1.2ghz dual core, 4gb internal mem, 1gb ram, and gingerbread. the 3d is just something that might be cool.

I must apologize, I did get slightly defensive over my choice of future phone lol.

Yeah, sadly there isn't much support for true 3D apps on the market yet :/

It's ok I am debating between it and the Nexus S from Samsung. Although, after being informed that the Evo 3D has a dual core and 1GB of RAM...hmmm

From my understanding of non glasses 3d (though quite limited) they have each row of pixels being one of two images, the screen is then polarized so it aims each screen at each eye, hence the small viewing angle.
