After the changes made to the list, the power supply should still be 650w, yes?

You could go Modular with OCZ 500w for the same Price if you want.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341016

It's more than enough for the system and for extra HDD's later on.

Z68 boards allow you to use integrated graphics from your CPU.
I don't know how well Intel HD 3000 Graphics perform with HD movies, but if it works then you don't need to buy a GPU at all.

I very highly recommend that you spend some of that money to get Premiere Pro CS5/CS5.5 as they can make elegant use of nVidia GPUs. CS5 works fantastically with AVC HD Footage. Good luck!

ysoto78 you are correct.
But I would like to have peace of mind that Digitus has a discrete graphics processor just in case he needs to do anything that can take advantage of GPU Acceleration.
If not then he could have the option to fold@home for OCN (team 37726)

Unlike you, I provided a link to an established reviews site proving otherwise.

It's a solid PSU for the build.

There are several OCZ PSU's on OCN's recommended list.

Just hit ctrl+F and type in OCZ and see how many are there. The Modstream 500w may not be a supreme high end unit, but it's certainly not anywhere near all the trash that CoolerMaster puts on the market.

Hey, PowerTrip. I finally garnered enough funds ($1,500) to get the parts! I'd like to know if some parts on that list have decreased or increased in price or some parts should be updated for something else. Would you offer me your most helpful aid once more?

Also, I'd appreciate any guides for building rigs for the first timer.

*bumps*

Should I follow this guide?:

http://www.overclock.net/computer-ca...-tutorial.html

I found that one by following two self-declared outdated guides.

Thanks.
