Please dont bash, i know i have a ****ty laptop but its only for school work thats all.

So i recently brought a T4200 that is compatible with this laptop but when i try to remove the panel in front of the keyboard, it feels like its going to crack in half and im really scared to do it. Is there any ways to make it looser so i can open it safely and replace my single core with a dual core?

Normally, the panel that comes off first is on the back. Did you make sure that all the screws are off? There may be some hidden under rubber feet that keeps your laptop from sliding. Most of the back panels pop off if all the screws are off. Have you tried looking for a disassembly guide on Google/Youtube? There are a couple out there for some laptops.
