A warranty is there is the product comes to you with a DEFECT or develops one down the road. A defect is something that occurs on it's own. If you screw up and drop a $500 video card because you have butter fingers that's your fault, not the manufacturers.

it's threads like these that make me think twice before selling stuff online. I never know what type of morally bankrupt person is gonna buy my stuff.

Sometimes I wonder how much of this site is low lives. You're absolutely right on the selling components online. That's my biggest fear when selling things anywhere online, that's what shipping insurance is for.
