2 Months On: Internet Explorer 9

Thread Starter
How do people feel about 'a more beautiful web' almost 2 months after Microsoft unleashed it on the world?

Since the final release, I have almost exclusively used this browser. It does everything I want it to and has never crashed. It feels like some of the HTML5 rendering is so fast and smooth, I really am browsing on a new web not to mention the very smooth GPU enhanced animations. I absolutely love being able to pin sites like Facebook and YouTube to my Windows 7 superbar - it's so intuitive!

Things I feel could be improved include a more easy addon repository including AdBlock and NoScript (although this might get rid of the proprietory feel to it and might ruin the experience by people slowing the browser down). I also wish it had a built and a perhaps system wide spell checking mechanism like OS X. I guess that is more of a complaint on an operating system level though.

Overall, I love Internet Explorer 9. I don't feel like using Chrome or Firefox or any of the competitors any longer.

Do you feel the same way?

Holy hell, it's been 2 months?! Seems like a few weeks at most!

I've used it for 5 minutes before I decided I didn't like the horrendous font smoothing. Went immediately back to Chrome.

I'm particularly impressed with this actually; previous IE browsers were crash haven, this one is quite stable. I'm still a Firefox fan at heart though

It's good and I use it on a small number of occasions. I use Firefox 4 as my primary browser, though.

I am downloading it to see what all the hype is about. I do love Firefox 4 though.
