Help with 1155 Build & SLI & NF200 thoughts.

Thread Starter
Im looking at building a new rig with the 1155 platform. i already have the 2600k and Evga 570 super clock and all that good stuff. just having a hard time picking out what motherboard for a few reason.

First off i plan on using a single discrete 570 to start off but i want to have room to grow to 2-way SLI. my motherboards in question are either the "Asus P8P67 Deluxe" and the "P8P67 WS Revolution". i will never do 3was SLI only 2way at most. is the WS Rev over kill? and would the NF200 Slow down a single card setup due to inc latency? or is that all speculation. Also in the deluxe how marginal is the performance with 8x\\8x SLI? the Sandybridge seem to have a better PCI-E Controller which seems to make up for the slower 8x\\8x SLI set ups?

My reasons for leaning towards the "P8P67 WS Revolution" the 16x\\16x SLI.
Reasons for leaning towards the Deluxe cheaper price and better single card setup till i can afford another 570. thoughts?

You probably won't see any difference between SLI 8x/8x and 16x/16x ( +/- 1%) - I have the WS Revolution purely for the NF200 and the ability to run tri-sli. It does have good spacing on the two X16's so that helps as well allowing room to breathe, but most manufactures are catching onto that and spacing them properly. There are really no advantages that are worth paying for on the WS Revolution other than the two full X16's
