Infinity ward bosses were fired by activision. The 45 best employees left with the bosses. IW made the good COD games (1,2, MW1, MW2)

Treyarch is the bad studio that made COD3, WAW and Black Ops.

MW3 is made by Treyarch, SledgeHammer and IW. But it is not the same IW. \\

MW3 will suck compared to BF3 for 2 reasons:

1. IW is dead.
2. BF3 will actually use the power of modern computer. The first game built around DX11, ready for crossfire with proper AFR support.

BF3 will look 50 times better than MW3.

I can see the just imagine what the storyline will be , but oh well.
Any news on actual information?

These trailers might please the console fans but PC users need something more than that lol.

That's a PC fanboy call. These trailers show nothing. PC gamers aren't superior, they have more money, taste and patience (to fix all the bugs and tune cfg and test CFX profile and run DX9 and so on.)

PC players will be busy with BF3 so screw MW3.

Fanboy or no fanboy, I doubt MW3 will bring anything to the table.
Same ol' COD, but this time Russia invades the whole world, almost win, then some hero dude cooks up an uber nuke out of thin air , makes russia loose and the end.

well. let me break it down for you.

#1 Activision is a publisher.

#2 Activision owns the majority of the studios of the games they publish, they might even own them all now.

#3 By owning that studio, they have complete control over it.

#4 this isnt a situation where its an independent studio, one like gearbox, or obsidian make a game and find a publisher.

#5 Activision owns the Call of duty franchise, not the studio, which gives them the rights to decide how it should be created, and by what studio. Bungie recently signed up with activision, but retained the rights to the IP and games they make. Meaning Bungie has complete control over thier game, and activision is merely publishing the title. It is a completely different situation from Activision owning the COD IP and the Studios that decide to let make them.

I don't really understand the point you're trying to make here, everyone knows what a publisher is.
I'm saying Activision does not MAKE CoD games, IW and Treyarch do.

Activision says I want COD 15. I want Treyarch to make it, and i want all new employees, everyone in treyarch is fired, and replaced.

Who just made the game? Activision did, they make the decisions, sure they might put someone from Treyarch in charge of it, but thats just "the man" from activision.

Or would you prefer that activision rename treyarch to i dunno, Activision Studio. Then who made the game if they rename Treyarch.

The point is, The owners decide what happens. Thats activision. You cant get tied up with "names". As it is really just one entity with multiple tentacles.
