A good headset for multiple things.

Thread Starter
I'm looking at buying a new headset, I'm happy with my current headset )Razer Megalodons) but it only works on the PC and since i play multi-platform i want something that works on the PC, PS3 and XBOX360.

I was looking at buying some TurtleBeach PX5's but ive been put off TB after buyig some X21's and they were appalling.

I was also looking at buying some Astro A40's which im leaning more toward now.

Any suggestions? I'm not an Audiophile or anything but ill be using them for everything on the PC and gaming on the consoles, the chat function quality isnt that important to me since i mute it often anyway but i like to sound whore in games like COD

Thanks

~DeadMau5

P.S I'm very open to suggestions and alternatives but i must be able to get them in the UK.

In short stay away from most headsets. They're awful value for your money and don't compare to headphones+Mic

You'll also want a sound card to pair your headphones with. Create a budget, look at that thread. See what you can buy, then ask if those will suit your needs again in this thread. Then we can help you out more.
