Dark/faded Bios Screen, Why?

Thread Starter
I'm having this dark, faded bios screen while booting up, and also it is faded until WIndows 7 fully loads, even faded at the logo. After boot up, my screen is perfectly normal, so there is no issue with my monitor.

Is this an issue with my motherboard? Also, one of the USB ports on the mobo isn't working.

Have you recently added any new hardware? Try clearing the CMOS. Hardware changes without clearing can brew up some really strange issues.

I had this happen to me before too, with an ATI video card.

It just stopped on day, so I dont know what I did.

Nope, my setup was working perfectly fine for a week with the same hardware and then recently I got the keyboard error and the faded bios screen together, and now the bios just stays there, kind of annoying.

Does this mean my mobo is dying?
