Just bought a Digital camera Want some advice.

I realize I went about this in reverse but I wanted a good sale, I figured I could always return it.

I picked up an Olympus vg-120 today. Seems to be a pretty decent camera; however I know nothing about camera's so what do you guys think of it?

In the near future i'm going to buy a telescope thats electronic, I found a stand for this camera to mount universally to a telescope... I realize its not an SLR, I have 0 intentions of paying that much for a camera, but I think I can find something inexpensive, that in the right hands can take some really fantastic shots.

Thanks for the advice/help.

It's a cheap point and shoot, nothing to write home about. It's probably decent for the price you payed though.

What? Anyways, is there something better around that price or under 150, that would be significantly better?

You've never heard that saying before? It's an idiom, the way I used it was toward the post. Meaning it covered everything I was going to say.

Not a fisherman I assume?

No, it's just a decent point and shoot. Nothing fancy. Pretty much the basic camera. I have a Nikon one like it, coolpix or something, it's good enough.
