Do you have a realtek hd audio manager like that, if mso just select spdif/pcm from the speaker setup window.

Lol
Please go to filehippo.com and install k-lite Codec pack.
completely uninstall your sound driver and clean it out completely.
reboot and install it again.
Run Codec tweak tool and setup your speaker config. Set it two stereo. In windows under sound devices aswell.
Most games get send to your analog of your audio output.

No go to ffdshow in k-lite Codec pack.
In ffdshow audio config go to output page. There you'll find check boxes to enable s/pdif pass through for Ac3 and Dts audio. If you want to sent the audio from other formats to your receiver then you to enable Ac3 (s/pdif encode mode) checkbox under Supported output sample formats. Only the audio processes by ffdshow will get re-encoded to Ac3. If you want ffdshow to processes audio that has been decided by a different direct show filter then you need to go to the Codec page in ffdshow config and set uncompressed ->All supported.

When your done test it. Then you can fiddle with your speaker setup again till you find the optimal one
