Going to invest in a mechanical keyboard with Blue MX cherry switches, the choice is between Razer Blackwidow Ultimate and QPAD mk-80. As we know QPAD mk-80 is nearly identical with Xarmor-u9bl, but the QPAD and Razer keyboard comes with a big enter button and nordic layout, which is important for me.

I like palm/wrist support, so I'm a little worried that the Razer one could get uncomfortable, I've tried with external palm support gel thingy, but I've found out that buildt in palm support on keyboards is the best.

I've heard problems with clicking on the Razer keyboard, due to some keys, when clicked on the edge, touches another key.

Palm wrest should be used while not typing because if you don't your hands will get tense.

Watch how pianists play, they have their hands "hanging" wink.gif

PS/2 doesn't help if your keyboard is 2KRO like both these sound to be.

You know perfectly that being the same as Xarmor is NKRO over PS/2 and 6KRO over USB.

BTW very nice to see a backlit keyboard with the correctly shaped enter.

I always disliked the 'correct shape'...

That sounds right. http://www.corporate.qpad.se/modules/news/article.php?storyid=238

The Razer on the other hand, is "optimized" 2kro. I'd go with the qpad.

Unless you don't like a company that changes the name every time they get a bad rep.
