Sound Card for a Beginner

Thread Starter
I own the RX700s (currently unmodded) and am almost done with wear in. I currently don't own a sound card and would like to get one if possible it would be ideal to spend below $40. I have started listening to lossless formats and mainly listen to older rock (currently listening to some Rush CD).

Since I have a TY archon the first PCI-E slot is blocked so I will have to use one below or a PCI slot below I have no CF in the future for this build so no worries about that. Also if anyone is familiar with my motherboard it routes USB 3 and Sata III through the PCI-E lines and with CF Sata III and USB 3 are eliminated do you know if adding a sound card in a PCI-E slot will impede my ability to use USB3 and Sata III if it will I would prefer a PCI card.

Any more info you need ask for
