I have the logitech z-506 and i don't want to buy a new sound card so it there anyway to get the best out of them? like software or programs or simpler stuff.

Also what's your onboard?

If you can try to get a Asus Xonar D1 its really worth it and those speakers will come alive.
By software you will gain almost nothing.
