Which RAM to choose for this build ?

Thread Starter
Hey there,

Recently started to build computers for clients (Since I love it, figured out it would make a real nice sideline) and after discussing with the client and seeing the AWESOME deal on NCIX, I just ordered it.

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...s&promoid=1026

Now I was wondering, which RAM would fit with this and which GPU (if any, since there is already integrated graphics) to equip the board with ?

My "customer" won't be 3D gaming at all, just some little facebook games and the PC will mainly be there to chat on MSN, check e-mails, handle some small excel spreadsheets and surf on the net.

TIA,
Ol' Bendy

Any Ram that is DDR3 and up to speeds of 1600MHZ. For GPU, Any graphic card that uses PCI-Express. But you may only fit one. Good luck with the build!

^ this

any 1600 cl9 would be great

if you use a board with onboard 4200/4250/4290 it would be great for flash videos ex. youtube and other media that uses hardware acceleration

edit:

the board in the combo is in my htpc rig

onboard video worked great for games '04 era and older and movies
the 4550 is about twice as good as its 4200
better for portal 2 ut3 and crysis (on ultra low) ect..

The above choice for RAM is great.

For the GPU I would personally say forget it if the most he'll be doing is little Facebook games. As I've become more frugal with building computers it always feels good to make the right decision and save some money rather than be safe and 99% of the time ending up not using the GPU.
