I don't know which jack to plug my logitech 2.1 speakers into for optimal sound... unfortuntely my left/right speakers connect into my logitech sub" and than from the controller there is a 3.5" connection (green)

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

The sound card comes with a RCA to 3.5MM adapter. Hook up the RCA (white and red) to the corresponding jacks on the sound card and then the 3.5mm to your speakers.

You don't lose any quality by doing that, but it throws Creative software into headphone mode.

thanks... now this is the least of my worries.. I tried to open creative console launcher and it saying There are no supported audio device available. You need to close the application. Click OK to close the application now.

I can't get into the console to do any kind of EQ or anything. I went to creative.com, support downloaded latest drivers and everything it reccomended.. and still when I go to click it, it throws that message at me

so essentially I could just plug the green 3.5" into the headphone jack in the sound card and not worry about running it back into my headphone jack of my logitech volume control.

first unplug everything at the back of the card
go to device manager. Any devices in yellow?
Set your speaker config AS IS in the creative settings.
