Sorry if there's a recommendation topic or something, didn't notice anything at first glance.

I would like over-the-ear btw.

Refurbished HD555s, heres a link. I think its like $58 after shipping, seller has good reviews. If you don't want a refurbished, I'm pretty happy with my HD515s which are around $50 as well. If I had a choice, I would trade my 515s for refurbished 555s.

Appears to be only 1 left in stock atm.

Hooray for blind recommendations! What are you going to be doing with them, and what kind of music do you listen to?

If you listen to anything that's relatively bass-heavy, HD555s are going to be rubbish

Not too many out there that beat the quality of sound for the same price!

I disagree, and I don't think you can find anything better for around $58. I'm not an audiophile though, but I do care about having decent sound /

Edit: I also believe hd555s can be modded to be closer to the 595s, and perhaps it would fix the bass issue? I haven't tried it personally though.

I just want some decent headphones for all-around gaming, what about the HD280s?
