Checking PCI E x16 mode

I was wondering if there is any other way to detect if a graphics card is running at full capacity on a x16 slot. On my Asus Rampage Formula x48 my first slot is running at x8 mode when its the only card installed. I think the slot it dieing/damaged and want to check another program. Running benches won't really help much cause my 5770 is going to eat up a whole x8 lanes let alone x16 lanes. I went to CCC under the "graphics hardware" tab in the info center to find out.

Cpu-Z, under the mainboard tab. Check the graphic interface link width. It should be x16.

Cool. Thanks +1. Gpu-z does it too. Just found that out.
