If you can find a 4 pole or 6 pole fan (motor) you will be halfway there.

Consider looking at those fitted to air con units... they are designed for rads

I did it just a bit bigger still... this is a 24" 8 pole plate fan
Hey Chap..what's with the little one on the middle ?

You could, but the fast of the matter is those large fans dont more the volume of air the regular 120mm fans do, try and find a 360mm fan, it would fit perfectly, and make sure it is 2000+ RPM, the 360 will be a better bet than the large fan

There's actually a lot of large radiators for external options.

As promised ... the start of my setup is at...

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...highlight=moaf

I expect to test the re-vamped layout in about 2 hours so maybe more info will be available by next weekend.

Coolhand, I just wanted it for scale . It has been suggested that it should be retained to counter the dead spot behind the motor

Just a little info for noak because I disagree with his comment...

My fan: 63cm, 650rpm, 240v, 0.32Kw and fitted to the rad probably in excess of 2400 cfm

I did see some users say a 360mm fan cannot be installed on Mo-Ra-3 1080

How did you make a speed controller for this super rad, Chap? Can I see the controller itself please?
