Wow, this is immensely helpful. Thanks A TON. I'll be reading this completely and see what my options are.

Yes, it's stable. I ran 20 instances of Intel Burn Test with it and it works just fine. Never had a problem. What I did to get it there was download SetFSB, find my motherboard's PLL (Clock Generator), and apply the over-clock. Since this over-clocks via FSB, your FSB and RAM clocks will go up as well. At 2.7GHz it's at a 1350MHz FSB and 1012MHz Memory. The Clock Generator is ICS9LPR604AGLF, BTW.

then i had my p7350 i ran it my ram at 1000 too, but with my x9100 i dont overclock it much over 3.2ghz. my next upgrade will be a 8 gig ram kit.

I thought the motherboard on these was limited to 4GB of RAM? What GPU temps. are you getting now? I really think I'm gonna do this. I don't want to be opening up a program to over-clock and I'd like to lower the 2D voltage, not to mention I won't have that Powermizer problem.

my gpu temps are about 100C in furmark and in the 90's in game. and as far as i know all laptops with the P45m chipset support 4GB per ram slot.
you can see in my sig i have a overclock too, and my CPU is way higher wattage then the P7350 so it increased the temps.

Hmm, I see. I'm getting 93C OCed in Furmark. I think I can push a bit higher... In games it's only ~82C. I'm just really worried about bricking the GPU, even though I understand the procedure LOL.
