Chipset:
2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3_0, SATA3_1) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices
4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors (SATA2_2~SATA2_5) supporting up to 4 SATA 3Gb/s devices
Support for SATA RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10
* When a RAID set is built across the SATA 6Gb/s and SATA 3Gb/s channels, the system performance of the RAID set may vary depending on the devices being connected.

That's what I see. That's the chipset (P67). Ignore the Marvel controller.

Come on mate these are the basics.

OP try this benchmark
ATTO

The previous sandforce drives needed compressed data to hit rated speeds.

Or you can also be sure Crystal disk is set to 0 fill.

This +1. I have the same exact board it's been upgraded tremendously by marvell and gigabyte. And the P67 works flawless.

Revisions? there is either B2 or B3. There is only 1 rev. and it says that on the board itself.

I was just going by my observations of the scores he was producing are identical to 9128 scores on other boards with the Vertex 3 and the MAX IOPS version as well. Which the scores in turn look like saturated SATAII scores. The fact the board contained the 9128 Marvell, which is frankly terrible, led to my conclusion that its the motherboard, but I honestly do not know everything, nor do I have any experience with 1155. I will just bow out of this troubleshoot.

I believe GA still designates revision by an addendum at the end, so B2 or B3 for example. I didn't mean there were several B3 revisions running around

Well it's at least an improvement. Try a different bench test and see if you get the same result. Try reinstalling the driver now that the drive is installed correct. See how it goes.

Posted another test at the post above.

I have 2 stuff im thinking about that maybe has something to do with the preformence.

1. The format size of the SSD (using windows deafult)
2. my WD 1TB is connected to SATA0 and the SSD to SATA1.

I dont know those affects preformence but maybe.
