When i had 6950 CF even my cpu clocked at 4ghz was a bottleneck in some games

Btw: i had reall difficulties trying OC my phenom2 920 on a AM2+ Board. couldnt get it past 3,6ghz and it runned wel hot to. best 24/7 OC for me was just 3,3ghz
My P2 920 (am2+) runs stable at 3.71.. This was a warranty replacement cpu though, and I've heard from multiple people that the replacement cpu's tend to OC a little better. My OG 920 would max out around 3.6 and run a bit hotter than this one.

As for the OP.. good thread. I've been wondering if mine would bottleneck dual 6950's as well.
