Does my Mobo support this?

I have put my Asus Xonar XD card in my bottom PCI-E 16x slot to see if it would stop the buzzing I get from my microphone when my GPU is under load. That slot is capable of 8x and 1x speeds.

Does that Slot even support PCI-E 1x devices?

and if so, how do I check if my computer detects it, because I have tried to install the drivers for it, and I get an error in the end telling me to put in a Xonar XD device.

Do your drivers support 64 bit os ?? i know mine were different, The card should be fine in any pcie slot regardless of what speed it is.
