Overclock keeps resetting?

Hey people,

Just been testing a small OC till i get my new cooling, at the moment i have the cpu @3.4 1.3v, NB & HT @2.1. cpu idle ~28c, load ~40c

The OC keeps resetting when i completely power off the machine, well to be precise it stays at the correct settings in the bios ui, but its back to stock everytime i start up fresh after a power off, to get my clocks back to the desired freq's i have to restart the machine after the initial power on.

Anyone have any idea why this would be happening?, its only a minor inconvenience at the moment, but it could get rather annoying after a while so id rather just get it sorted. Any help on this matter is much appreciated. Thanks.

Thought it worth a mention that i've AMD OD (monitoring), and Fusion installed atm, dunno if they could be interfering with the bios, but i douth it, or a simple restart wouldn't make a difference surely.

Maybe it s related to the BIOS software or BIOS chip.
Maybe the watchdog considers your overclock to high.
Try a different BIOS version ,also make sure the battery is ok.
Otherwise replace/RMA the motherboard.
Does it remember the stock settings ,with small tweaks like SATA settings ,or it reverts to defaults all the time ?!

Thanks for the reply man, All the settings in the bios save fine, they don't revert, but the actual overclock doesnt take effect on initial startup. EG: i plug in my machine and power up to the desktop-> stock clocks, i restart machine then and back to the desktop-> overclocked lol. I was using the 2nd newest bios initally, now im on the most current version 2101, still the same, must be something stupid really lol, nice1 again +1

When i initially power on and check the bios, all the settings are fine, and saved, so i can't explain it tbh.

quite possibly a RAM problem.
My computer would overclock fine, run benches and games etc then refuse to cold boot.
I pulled one stick of ram from the slot and it works fine, cold booting to the preset overclock.
run a memory test to see if one of the sticks is failing?
