Brand new GPH Caanoo has stuck pixels

Got a Gamepark Caanoo handheld last week.
Had been working a lot and hadn't really had a chance to play around with it until last night.
Loaded one of the ROMs included on the 4GB memory card.
The system froze up and I was forced to manually power off and back on.

Now there appears to be a vertical line of stuck pixels displaying a purple color.
I say stuck because the Caanoo includes a "Test Mode" where you can force the screen to display Red, Green or Blue.
Displaying in Red or Blue you will not see the line, which makes sense with the color displayed being purple.
(So I do think they are stuck not dead)

Luckily I bought from a US seller through eBay, a company out of New York that I had read on some other forums was Gameparks US contact for repairs/ warranties.
I contacted the seller and they offered to repair/ replace it as soon as I sent it back. So at least that is good news!

I'm just hoping that this isn't an indication of the build quality of these handhelds and wondering if anyone else has heard of problems similar or any other issues with a Caanoo.
This unit had literally 5 minutes of play before it malfunctioned.

I will keep everyone posted of the turnout and be sure to mention the seller as a recommended place to get a Cannoo if all is resolved!

(Willl edit in a moment to include pictures)

Got my replacement Caanoo today and wanted to let everyone know who the seller was due to their awesome service.
Ebay seller- "videogamesnewyork"

So glad I went with a seller in the US.
If anyone in the States is looking into this handheld, I would recommend checking this company out.

The Caanoo seems like a really good machine for emulation.
The Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo games etc that I've had a chance to run look really good and run at a consistent 60 fps.
The touchscreen is a nice addition and it probably has great potential.

The games made for the Caanoo seem really cool so far.

"Deicide 3" is really cool looking.
Sort of an adventure game like Kings Quest series etc except from a first-person viewpoint.
You are some sort of police officer in the future that drives these mech units around.
I haven't gotten too far into the game but will report more on the game if anyone is interested.

"Rhythmos" is a handheld version of DDR, Guitar Hero rhythm game etc.
The songs are a mix of Korean pop songs and songs made for the game that sound similar to popular songs in the US.
The songs are pretty good so far, and range from Jazz to RnB to Club music.
The graphics are good and the gameplay is fun, and thats what matters most to me.

"Redemption" is an RPG with real-time fighting like Zelda or something similar.
I only played it a few minutes but the dialogue and graphics are done well.
I've heard good things about this game and really looking forward to checking out how it progresses.

I'm happy with my purchase so far and unless this one fries itself I would say the build quality is decent and the last unit was just a defective screen, which happens on any mass-made electronic system.

One thing I'm a little concerned about is battery life.
I've heard these will run for a few hours before needing a recharge. I hope so because without any type of disc drive etc not too much power should be needed if the processor is efficient.
I've heard the battery is pretty complicated to replace, so hopefully it lasts a few years at least...
