Budget tri monitor setup? - Page 2

Hate to thread jack, but are the Dell IPS monitors generally regarded as the best IPS panels?
I'm considering picking up a Dell U3011 pretty soon, with the plan being to get two more in the future, but if I'm spending over a grand on a monitor, I definitely want the best I can get!

the U2311H is an eIPS panel, it isnt a true 8bit panel, unlike the U2411, U2711 and U3011 which are all 8bit.

Edit: thought the question was in relation to U2311H, sorry

Yes, they are (at least for the U3011). You can find (IMO) the best review for them here.

I picked up 3x U2311H's for $666 not 5 days ago, just waiting for them to be delivered...

I'm in Australia for reference!

That has largely been overblown. The Dell U2311H has some areas where its panel is better than the U2410, and vice versa.

I have kindda budget setup of 3xHP S2031a monitors with 2 HD5770 in CF ..

I still think it's worth it, even though I dont have 1080p and such .. it's still epic .. In my opinion at least
