The 560 is exactly the same chip as the 460, just higher clocked by default.
Maybe this chip will clock up to 1 ghz like the TI, but i'd be not surprised if this maxes out at 900 like most 460's.

Wrong. The GTX 460 is based on GF104; the GTX 560 is based on GF114. It'll max out a bit over 1GHz Core.

Sure, they put a new label on it, but it's the same design.

hm really, well that's weird. I'm 100% sure that i saw them on newegg yesterday. When doing an advanced search" it even showed two choices "GTX 560, and GTX 560ti" The cheapest 560 was $200, and the twin frozr II version was $225. I thought it was a ti when i first saw it so i was getting excited that it was so cheap, but nope it was the 560 I guess they pulled em out because like you said their release date is in 2 days.

It's just not worth it to argue with some people. *sigh*

Listen, this uses an updated architecture that consumes less power and over-clocks higher. It's not the same thing with another label. You want something that's the same with a new label, you look at the "new" Radeon HD 6750 and 6770.

The difference is that the new Core has allowed NVIDIA to lower the TDP by 10W to 150W, it now has higher over-clocking capabilities, and the stock clock speeds have been increased to 810MHz Core and 4000MHz Memory. Performance should be around 15% faster than the GTX 460 as a result.
Finally someone else knows the specs aside from me!

But yeah... this... ^_^
