Cleaning BlackWidow Ultimate.

So I bought a the Razer Black Widow Ultimate keyboard a few months back, and so far i've spilt on it twice.

The first time, i just unplugged it, turned it upside down, let it dry and it worked after a few hours.

Now this time, i hardly spilt anything on it, just on the bottom right corner of the letter keys and a tiny bit in the arrow keys. (Apple juice btw)
I tried doing the same thing this time but it's been almost two days and it wont even turn on at all now.

I'm wondering if there is another way i can go about cleaning it, like dishwasher, bathtub? I don't know. I read on the razer site that i'm not to submerge it in any liquid.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thank you!!

Take a blowdryer to it and blowdry it for at least 10 minutes, and then just let it dry for at least a whole 24 hours.

You really shouldn't have turned it on for at least 24 hours after you spilled liquid into it.

It has been almost two days, like i said. I just tried it again and still nothing. :\

Thank you though.

Step 1. If after 2 days of drying it still isn't powering on, it's probably fried. Check Razer's warranty policy regarding spills. Accidental spills maybe covered.

Step 2. Install a cup holder on your desk or invest in sippy cups
AMD, I give up.

Actually there have been TWO people that immersed keyboards recently. One after a tea spill and the other spilled a fruit cup. One rinsed it in Windex (windex?) and the other rinsed it in water that had been boiled and cooled (double lol - afraid of STDs?).

Surprisingly they BOTH worked afterwards! (but I bet their switches will rust out someday). Plus, BOTH reported their keys felt sticky (probably the lube being stripped from the MX switch plates).

Don't believe everybody's advice on the internet folks.

Oh, and don't give up hope. Sometimes it can take a WEEK for it to come back. Set it sideways like 10 feet from some mild heat source like a radiator.

If you still have the warranty just give Razer a call and see what they have to say.
