the iphone 4 is very nice on the outside, but thats it. its like a pretty but stupid girl. the android is an intelligent beautiful woman.
Sorry but why would you want a dual core in android phones when you don't have games like Infinity blade or Rage HD? And why you want 8MP and 1080p capture when you can buy a $150 camera and it's way better picture quality than phone. Phone are used for communication, most android users are forgetting that.

I don't want to but a camera, one it's more money on top of the phone and two I don't want to have to carry it around. For my needs my phone is a great camera. Also I've played those "hardcore" touch screen games and hate them, a touch screen is ment for pickup and play gaming and more arcade style games that are easy to do with a touch screen, there's a reason Angry Birds does so well. Dual core it great for multitasking but OFC and iPhone wouldn't know anything about that

its for convenience. i have a 10mp digicam and a 1080p canon hd camcorder, but i rarely take those out with me unless we're going on a family trip. my phone, i always have. and im sure the processor will do more than just play games smoothly. it also helps with recording of video. like with the atrix, from what im hearing, a software update with allow 1080p capture... because the hardware is already capable.

and the games will come. when shopping for a phone, i didnt ask the guy... "ok, hw much is this phone with contract renewal? ... and will it play infinity blade?" i will spend a lot more of my life taking pictures and recording video of my kids, than playing any game.

The Iphone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S2 aren't a equal comparison .

One handset is nearly a year old and the other has just come out .

Sure the Galaxy S2 is a great handset but the Iphone 4 still holds its own .

Don't compare apples with oranges .

Actually my phone and the one I was doing all the comparing to is the Samsung Captivate, the only thing that wasn't from my phone was the dual core where I was explaining the use of it.

When the iPhone 4 was released, it was already outclassed IMO by the EVO 4G, Droid X and Desire HD in terms of specs.

Ive owned the Desire HD and even though it had better specs this didn't show in real world situations .

Examples were :

The Camera even though being 8MP produced worse pictures and was harder to use than the 5MP from the Iphone 4.

Loudspeaker quality was also poor from the Desire HD and again worse than the Iphone 4.

The microphone and video recording was also worse on the Desire HD than the Iphone 4 .

I had a issue with low in call volume from the Desire HD aswell. (Probably a one off thing with the handset )

Oh and the battery life on the Desire HD is awful , in comparison to the Iphone 4.

Then we get to the OS and the Android at stock was laggy in comparison to the Iphone 4.

When viewing pictures they actually lagged and stuttered . (Stock Android is average which you already know , but improves when using a custom rom )

I wont buy HTC again that's for sure .
