Watercooling CM690 II

Thread Starter
Now, I have seen plenty of watercooling logs that use a CM 690 II and I am looking to watercool. The two reasons are:

1. I HATE seeing my 965 at stock reaching 40*c with my H50 push/pull.
2. The noise!

I have a budget of £300 - £350 and am just going to be cooling the CPU at first. If I can fit the GPU cooling with the CPU then I will do it.

Can someone spec me a watercooling kit because I wouldn't know were to start

Cheers

That's more than enough money for a dual-block system.

H50 is keeping your 965 at stock cooling and its at 40C? I don't think you are reading the temps correctly. What do you use to read your CPU temps? Try real temp. My i7-970, at stock cooling with H50 is at 22C. So I doubt 965 is way hotter.

I am using Core temp to monitor temps. Also, it is summer so the ambient temperature is getting higher

try real temp and see if theres a difference, let me know. Thanks!
