More 2500K Voltage questions

Thread Starter
I just read this post http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/1015944-2500k-4-5ghz-got-some-questions.html and it got me thinking about my own 2500K. I'm not as familiar with Intel CPUs and OC'ing.

My house burnt done so I've recently switched from a Phenom X4 to an Intel i5-2500K. I had the Phenom OC'd and learned about the different options to do so but this was a year or two ago. Now with this Intel I'm seeing some of the usual stuff but alot of stuff I'm not quite sure about.

So far I've just upped the Multiplier to 49 giving me 4.9ghz and it runs stable, but all the voltages and such I have set to Auto/Default. The VCore is reading 1.512 at 100% load. This seems too close to the recommended max of 1.52v, so I went manually lower it but it doesnt seem so easy.

Heres some of the BIOS options I'm fuzzy on:

CPU Voltage - Manual or Offset Mode - Currently set on Offset Mode showing 1.448v
CPU Offset Voltage - Auto or Manual - Currently set on Auto
CPU PLL Voltage - Auto or Manual - Currently set on Auto showing 1.793v

DIGI+VRM
Load-Line Calibration - Auto, Regular, Medium, High, Ultra High, or Extreme - Currently set on Auto
VRM Spread Spectrum - Enabled or Disabled - Currently set on Disabled
Phase Control - Standard (Intel 1 and 4 Phase Specs), Optimized (Asus internal phase balancing), or Extreme (Full stage phase array) - Currently set on Standard
Duty Control - T.Probe Thermal or C.Probe Current - Currently set on T.Probe Thermal

Any advice on if any of these should be changed and to what is greatly appreciated, tyvm.

hehe that was my thread

btw the way i mess with my vcore is to set the CPU voltage to Manual and then it will open another little space that with default to Auto...just change the auto to what you feel is going to get good results...just search around and see what others are running their 2500ks at 4.9ghz

also i have my LLC enabled to Ultra High as recommended by Falkentyne

everything else for me is set to its default or auto
