spoiler alert.....

I just finished the game, and it seemed a bit confusing, so hopefully someone can explain it, and maybe answering these questions?

1. Did you (Alcatraz) die at the end?
2. Why did Prophet shoot himself? He said that he was contaminated... with alien cells?
3. Did he merge into the suit or something? Because lots of the level intros have him talking.

Nope. We don't get to die just yet.

I think so. I've played through the entire story beginning to end over half a dozen times, and I'm still not sure what got inside him, but it certainly seems like you're right.

Those are flashbacks. However, it's like he said: the suit changes all the rules. Death is just an inconvenience now, kinda like an annoying thing that gets in your way for a minute. The suits are symbiotic. So while those are flashbacks, he still isn't dead; he's somehow living on thanks to the suit.

Man, I think I'm gonna need to get the Crysis comic books that I heard about (there are supposed to be 6 in a series).

1. NO
2. Yes
3. The suit is like a friendly organism, symbiosis, it takes from u and give u. Profet worn it for so long the suit "absorbed" his personality, thoughts, visions,...etc so basicly it kinda became profet.
To put it in 1 word, threesom...

I didn't say that I played it 6 times. All I said is that I know I played it over a half a dozen times. The key word here is over. According to Crysis 2, my total time spent in the game is exactly 90 hours, 35 minutes, and 46 seconds. That's close to 4 solid days worth of total time spent playing the single player campaign.

I actually tried to calculate it this time, and I think I'm on my 9th or 10th play-through of the single player campaign. I believe I played Recruit twice, Soldier twice, Veteran three times, and I think I'm on either my 2nd or third time through Post-Human Warrior. So yeah, I'm dead serious.

Anyway, I could watch all 8 of his current uploads and point out every single moment that proves he's just not used to it yet which will always show why he hates this game. My list would be very, very long. It's only natural to hate change.

Besides, I hated the game at first too; almost everyone is hating it at first. Some choose to give it a fair chance and then they end up loving it while others refuse to do so and then continue to hate it because they close their minds to it.

Not only that, but what would you say if NanosuitNinja said that Crysis 2 is the best game Crytek has ever released? Then what would you say? Would you still just automatically agree with him?
