good mate. I have been very happy with powercolor since I purchased my 5850 PCS+ from them

Their RMA turnaround time is standard and their system is easy to work with. I've used them several times without issue. The only issue I have with them is that they often cheap out on voltage circuitry with their non-reference designs - many models do not feature software voltage control.

I stand corrected. It is not the PCS+ model. Reading a review

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/graphics/display/powercolor-hd6950-1gb_2.html

It seems the cooling and PCB is based on the 6870 PCS+.
However, a few people have seemed to unlock the shaders on this. Either way for me, I used the $40 promotional credit I got from the gtx 580 scandal, so it came to $140 shipped for me. This shall replace my 4870x2 quadfire.

It's the revised card, but it does unlock and has fullcover support using 6870 blocks.

this is a pretty awesome deal I have to admit.

I went ahead and ordered as I am in no rush to get it. It will just be nice to have at this price once it gets here since this card will be viable for at least another 2 years, especially if it unlocks to a 6970

When it comes time to Crossfire these when u can get a 6950 for below 100, forget about it. That setup will be strong enough to ride out until the AMD 8xxx series.
