Which model would be great too.
Thank you.

Why 1ghz?

you already have a GTX570.

I'm stepping down on my computer, I'm selling it making a relatively big amount of cash andd I keep a more than decent right, just to fit my low budget-student gaming requirements.
You may check this thread : http://www.overclock.net/intel-gener...overclock.html
I know that a well overclocked 560 can beat a 570, which is already more than sufficient for me.
I'm just looking to make sure I get the best perf/ratio/price.

6870 doesn't have alot of OC headroom. You'll get her to 1000mhz, but it won't be much of a improvement.

Get a 560.

To answer your question OP, the 560Ti is the more powerful card with better OC headroom. You can buy the Gigabyte 560 SOC (pre-clocked to 1GHz) if you can find it that is. Gigabyte had some stability issues with these models so their presence in the market is kind of spotty. The "new" SOC models are clocked at 950 instead.

Your next best bet is probably the MSI GTX 560 Ti Hawk. 950 core default clock, with VRM cooling so 1GHz should be within reach with or without a slight voltage tweak. Nothing is guaranteed of course.

Now that is a pretty damn good deal. At that price it's hard to suggest anything else.

If it's the amazon one, it's dead for now.
