1090t/SLI Compatible Mobo

Thread Starter
Hey I'm getting a 1090t that I want to oc to 4Ghz...maybe more, and I want a nice mobo. Some 6gb Sata's, and 2 x16's that can do SLI. Is this possible?

If you wait about a month until the 990FX chipset boards are released, they are supposed to support both crossfire and sli.

Source to the 990? Or how to hack the lower models?

yes there are two boards the one in my sig and the MSI 980 chipset are both SLI boards, now of coarse you can run SLI on others with the patch and it works well from what I have heard but I went for a SLI proven board lol. You can click on the mother board link in my sig to talk with others that have the 1090T chip in this board

900 series (AMD 900 series, not nVIdia 900 series) out in less than a month will feature native SLI capability. Wait for it!

Not knocking you but I think (as in not sure) that the new boards do have Nvidia back on them. I thought I read that somewhere could be wrong

XD is saying that it's an AMD chipset (not an nvidia one) and it will support SLI.

I understand tht was not like I said trying to pick a fight I think I read somewhere that the new 990 was also going to have the Nvidia(nf-200 chip set) back on-board but I can't find that article now (probably dreamed it or nightmare lol)
