HD 6950 & GTX 480 in same computer

Thread Starter
So I am picking up a GTX 480 tomorrow from a member and I currently have an HD 6950.

I was getting the GTX 480 for folding and video encoding... and run it along side the 6950 which I would use for gaming and then possibly use the 480 for PhysX.

So here are my questions:

1) am I just friggin crazy? just keep the 480 in the system and get rid of the 6950?

2) if I keep both... how would I tell adobe CS5 that I want to use the nvidia card to do the encoding? does it have a setting?

Thanks in advance.

Answers: 1> Yep, definitely crazy.
480 is a bit faster than 6950. If the 6950 is unlocked to a 6970 then they would be similar in performance. Given the options I would have kept the 480 cause I like Nvidia's physx and drivers and lastly but most importantly, display quality. If you must have a separate physx card pick up a second hand gtx260.
On second thought, the best thing for you would be to sell the cards and buy a new/used GTX580, yep... I would have gone with this.

2> Not sure about it. However, if there is no way to set the GPU manually, the primary gpu would be set as default.
