Dont get too excited there young fella.

As above - run IBT and/or Linx for an hour and Prime95 for at least 12 hrs... then you can call it stable

First off download HWmonitor and install/run it and once monitoring you launch a burntest for a few moments.
This way you will be able to know how much you can push it.

Isn't the vcore a bit much for that little of an increase? I don't really know much about AMD OC'ing, but by Intel's standards, that pretty much the max safe voltage.

Have fun-but becarefull-monitor your temps befor you just let it run-and that 720 with good thermal compond on that stock cooler will get you 3.2 easy any way, have mine at 3.4 with the stock cooler no probs at all. But yes have to run prime for atleast 12 hrs-i go for the full 24 to make sure its stable-use hw monitor-or i like open hardwaremonitor much better-it reads more and is more accurate. Also have my nb running at 2600 with 1.3v and my cpu vcore at 1.44v

i didnt touch the voltage. and thanks for the tip on 3.2 im going to run a few more tests before i officially call it stable. and this CPU has been great to me for a long time. i used to use Turbo V when i ran vista and played WoW back in the day i built this PC (minus my GPUS) taxtime of 09 and its beena good CPU to me. had to get rid of the 2 4670s i had tho haha

its idling at 43C atm and gets up to 55-57 when prime is running thoughts on this?
