Hey,

I have one quick question. Is it save to move my computer (put it in a car so I can take it to shop for repair) with nh-d14 on?

I dont see why it shouldn't be - of course you should handle with care. But considering you have the backplate and everything on the back of motherboard - I would say it's safe ..

And let the Noctua stand up right, so the pressure is downwards to the mtherboard, instead of downwards to the bottum of the case ..

I would strap it in if you can but that's about it. It most likely won't move at all as long as you have it screwed in good enough.

Yes, as long as you're not offroading or the like on the way there. Just make sure the computer is secured and not sliding around and you should be good.

I'm driving 400 miles tomorrow with my computer -- I'm not removing any components, but I'm putting the entire thing into my original 800D box with the styrofoam padding and laying the whole thing flat in the trunk.

I wouldn't really worry much about it..
