Was really hoping it was a RAM problem because that's easy to fix :<
My theory was that there are bad sectors or something on the OS harddrive which in time corrupts the OS because when I formatted it when the first time this happened it was working fine for 1-2 days. Hopefully it shows an error, cheap, fast and easy to fix (for this pc at least lol)
Try running a SMART test like the above poster said or SeaTools for DOS which is what I use usually. If it passes then bad sectors are unlikely.
Otherwise I would definitely try to use a different power supply as power can cause all kinds of weird issues.
One last thing I would try is resetting the CMOS to be sure nothing in the BIOS is causing these issues.
Try the above things and share your results. The above steps solve many problems around here.
