CPU cooler:

Great prefonmance/value
ThermalTake Frio or Cooler Master V6G the one which u found cheaper o like the most, they cool the same

Great perfomance and nice value
Noctua nh-d14 (i recomend this one)

And its also good the polymatech supermega, but you have to buy the fans so is more expensive. Oh, and also de corshairH-70 is good.

EDIT: oh the ram forgot it

G-skill is very good. Look for an 2x2gb or 2x4gb ddr3 1333 ripjaws-x series cl7

The rest is veeeery nice

7.4/10

The score would be higher if you went with a 2500k for gaming. Clock for clock, it's much faster than the 1090T and you can easily reach 4.5Ghz+ with air cooling. If you are only using one screen, a single 6950 is more than enough. Or just go with 6970 now, [sarcasm] and then if find that you are not getting over 100fps [/sarcasm], you can save up for a 6990 later.

i have been heavily debating this build (amd / ati) for a long time... but , i think i am going to take the plunge and see what and how it stands out to be... and if it is pos... then i can say i spent the $$$$ and it is a pos.

and also i got a frind that want the same setup like this... so it is killing to birds with 1 stone as well.

but yes i agree i love intel over amd / ati anyday.

my biggest worries are graphics card drivers.

and i would like to get a native sli board over xfire as well because, i have so many nvidia cards. so i can put them to good use as well. so i might also just wait a month to see the 990 mobo's...

bad choice going with the AMD man, the i7 D0 920 / 930 @ 4GHz will kill that processor and would probably save you some $$

GPU - good, as long as its not one of those dual gpu cards.

now I didn't suggest the 2600k, because that is a whole different story, unless you gotta have the latest and greatest hardware every six months, i dont see any reason for most of us with a good i7 setup (1366) moving to a sandy bridge.

why dont you hold up for the bulldozed to arrive, its not that far away now

Guys... M5A88V-EVO
This thing can take on a 32nm FX-Series when it's out in a month. I think it's fine from here.
If you're planning on going bulldozer (a crapshoot, we don't know how it will perform), then this is a solid build. If not, the current x6 processors have been shown to be quite a limitation, especially in crossfire/sli setups. It's fine for 1 card but you'd be losing a lot going with AMD and a crossfire setup.
