What happened with my 5850? (and please, this time don't ignore)

I made a couple of threads and they all died.

I am asking you guys..please don't ignore this thread. There are plenty other threads you could ignore.

My problem is this one. On 27th of april i started mining for bitcoins(dont ask me what it is; stay on topic)

I decided my graphics card was doing it slowly so i overclocked and the higher i got was 950 although it was unstable so i backed down to 935 then later to 925.
As for voltage yes, i tweaked it a lot. The highest i went was 1.200mV.

The card was doing great, although there were occasional lock ups in which there was no signal to the monitor and fan went to 100%.
The only way to fix this was a reboot from the Power buttons, as the reset switch didn't work at all. This happened about 15-20 times(a lot, I know) and the final time it happened it was different; fan did not go to 100% as usual.

When i booted up, of course, everything was fine, however the card was not. It would do the same thing even at stock clocks and voltage, under load.

So i tested with OCCT and what do you know..the GPU is fu**** up with errors.
These days it's been stable under stock, however if i load it to it's max, it will lock up again.

Also, sometimes, before the strange lock up, temps went to 92 core a few times in which i noticed some kind of throttling back and forth every second(probably the cause of this mess)
The VRM temps also hit 110C once.

I need an answer to what is wrong, not a simple one as "Yeah, you need to RMA it". As if i didn't know that.

The pic shows the card at 98% load. Notice the VRM Amps

I am not sure what you are looking for as an answer. long story short: you fried your card because you overclocked it more than it could handle. you clearly needed better cooling for the speeds you where trying to pull. sounds like you probably damaged the VRMs and the core both.

Then i should probably add, while I did this to the card, many OCN guys told me it could handle 1.3mV and i've seen them go as far as 1000 core clock on the card.
What went wrong with mine?

1.3v is too much voltage unless you ran 100% fan speed nonstop.

And i said the most i went was 1,200 in which the card was still unstable so i dropped the clocks a bit and the voltage too.
And yes, the card was running hot so i did make it 100% in MSI AB

No two cards are made equal. Just cause someone elses can, doesn't mean yours can. You ignored the warnings your GPU gave you and you ignored them all (and you were given a lot of chances) You've fried your card.

*EDIT*

No you didn't, you said in your original post that;

For the fan to have went to 100% would mean it wasn't 100% in the first place. You bolded that point to illustrate the fact it wasn't 100% to start with and the GPU crashing caused it to go to 100%. Get your story straight, no amount of lying about the situation will change the fact that you fried your card.

Short answer - not all cards are made the same.

It needed better cooling if you wanted to do that. Especially on the VRM's.
