Yeah that tells you right there. And a simple Google search of b3 vs g0 stepping q6600 will give you your answer on your second question. And search q6600 + the name of your mobo overclocking will answer your third

It's G0 if everest says so, even looking at the voltage for 3.6 it's almost certain that it's a G0
G0 is a 95W processor, B3 is 130W so the G0 overclocks like mad and uses less power.
Yes it will overclock far better.
If you're on a maximus formula that's the same board as my p5e, this thread should tell you how to turn it into a rampage formula. (as far as it knows anyway ) http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179580
I'll edit in a few minutes if I find a guide to overclocking, it takes a while to type it out and I'm not as well schooled as others might be.

Edited to actually include a link to the rampage conversion guide thread (whoops)
Edit again: Didn't read your sig at all...

I suggest searing OCN for the Q6600 overclocking guide, there are quite a few around, and (no offense) I think you could do with having a good old read up before giving it a shot

You've WCed your southbridge and motherboard MOSFETs?

Did you just recently come into this system? Or have you had this setup for years? I only ask because LGA 775 systems are 3 y/o tech, and usually OCing your CPU comes fairly quickly if you're into this sort of thing.

If you're looking for some BIOS help, I took a few pictures of my BIOS setup with my q6600 running at 3.5Ghz right now @ 1.34v (after vdroop)
