I got 50% off a G510 and G700 as well biggrin.gif
The G510 is nice. That said, I don't use any of the extra features except the volume control and the built in sound which is awesome, I get interference from my GPUs on my onboard on two different boards but the keyboard is too far away to be affected cool.gif

The screen is pretty nice once it's set up with everest or something, I haven't set it up at the moment as setting up everest properly takes me a while.
I don't think the G19's screen would be much better than the G510's for displaying text which is all you'd need it to do anyway so I'd go for the G510 smile.gif

If you really use the G series screen like i do then i would say the G510 the G19 is just more trouble and twice the price (logitech drivers these days...). I can check GPU and CPU temps, loads, voltages and FPS in all my games on my g15 so i can't live without that screen.

But if you can BUY THE G19, why? Sell it on craigslist for close to MSRP unopened and by yourself a quality mechanical keyboard with lots of money to spare.

I thought about doing that, but surprisingly the G19 doesn't sell for much above half of MSRP on eBay anyway.
Plus, I don't like dealing with the spam that comes from selling on Craigslist.
The G510 can actually net me more profit. biggrin.gif

I personally would check completed prices on ebay and prices on CL. Figure out which keyboard would give you the best return if you resell it brand new. This way you can use it to purchase a keyboard that is either better or what you really want.

That was done using Everest software which is now AIDA64.
You can get it here.
Then I just used a bmp from this site. Check out this post
Yes you can have it read whatever you like including SLI

I have the g510 and love it-great software-very smooth key strokes and nice looking board, between the two and the small price difference i would get the g19-but that is a great deal on the g510.

My g19 died a while back and i had rma it. And still have mine sealed in a box. Keyboard is great if you need the info gaming, benchmarking, etc.

Side effects is watching the keyboard bow when you press keys by the lcd screen. And of course the loud space bar key. The extra power supply is kinda hard to deal with but for the usb 2.0 and lcd screen.

The random cutting off and stop responding is a driver issue. Seems they would try to fix problems on their flagship keyboard. And not to mention still only a handful of games that actually take advantage of the screen.

So if you can get it for $75 it isn't real bad. If you use the screen. But they had a dented box a little while ago for $109 shipped i think for the g19. 1 year warranty is a hit and miss also on a expensive keyboard. Well when you paid $160+ on up for it.
