i already know that i5 2400 and 2500k beats x6 1090t and 1075t by miles in gaming, but what about i5 2300k? Its far cheaper than these all so i was wondering how it compete against 1075 and 1090t.

There's no such thing as the 2300k.

There's a list of their current processors. If someone's trying to sell you a "2300k", it is most definitely not that. There are only two k models, the 2500k and the 2600k.

i was talking about it. Its not a K. How good is it comparing x6 1075 or 1090t?

The i5 2300 is real guys lol! Surprised at some of you Ahaha! The K isn't.

Anyway, it's a quad 2.8ghz with 6mb cache, but I don't think it is possible to overclock with it?

No one told him the 2300k was real

Here's a comparison with the 1090T and 2400. The 2300 would be a bit slower but as you can see it would still be quite superior in gaming.

There's nothing as i5-2300k... it's i5-2300. It should be good for gaming as well even though you won't be able to overclock it. I'm using 2500k @3.4ghz with an h67 board (got them cheap in a sale), and it's very quick for gaming I must say. so that 2300 is OK for gaming if you can get it for LESS than $150.
