Accelero Xtreme Plus on GTX580

Thread Starter
Hi all, and I hope people will help me.

I'm not very good with it comes to installing hardware/coolers.
And a friend of mine, have a Accelero Xtreme Plus. Its very quiet...very quiet.

So I want a videocard, that have that cooler premounted from factory on. I game alot and my GTX260 needs to be replaced with the best single gpu out there.
And since I have had nvidia, I will just stick with that (please no flamewar now)

I have found this videocard here, that seems to have that Acceelro Xtreme Plus premounted. But is it really that one?

EDIT: I will now start to fill out my pc profile

Just get the Gigabyte SOC model, much cheaper in the long run, and probably cools just as well.

They both fit your requirement for the AXP cooler. I'd say go with whichever you can find cheaper.

The AXP cools very well (I have one on my 480) just keep in mind that any AXP-cooled card will be a 3-slot card.

Going with the "SPARKLE Calibre Series X580"

However my friend said to me, we could make the Sparkle card even more nice. And he would perform the installation.

Instead of using the standard VRM heatsink, then use these here:
http://www.enzotechnology.com/mos-c1.htm#

And as for the memory cooling:
http://www.enzotechnology.com/bcc9.htm

And if anything is too tall, we'll just cut'em down a little bit. Wouldnt that be better than the standard VRM/memory cooling solution?

Oh I have taken a screenshot of the Sparkle Calibre X580 and marked those with white, we think are the VRM components, that needs to be cooled down. Are we correct?

So you recommend I get those parts, to cool the VRM/memory over the stock VRM cooling?

And what about my picture in #6 anyone?

Anyone????

Someone in here must know if I marked all the VRM on that card in #6. Without getting that confirmed 100%, I cant ordrer those enzotech MOS-C1 yet. Because I dont know how many I need. Nor do I know where to put'em, if more needs to be marked.

No, no, no. The Sparkle Calibre has excellent custom VRM cooling and the memory doesn't need extra cooling. Get it and enjoy.
