I decided to get this ASUS open box from the Egg (only $214!). This looks like a reference model to me so I'm looking forward to unlocking the shaders.

going from a 4850 to a 5850 doubled my performance in Crysis, and the 6950 is a bit better than my 5850 so you will be very pleased .

4870 vs 6950 1gb.
